Laureate Gamma Sigma sorority of Beta Sigma Phi met Sept. 19 at the home of Jackie Shank.
Correspondence from International concerning the 80th anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi was read.
A nice profit was made at the pie auction held at the Tontogany Festival.
It was discussed to donate money to the Otsego food pantry for the purchase of heaters and whatever else
is needed. The chapter will hold a food collection for the pantry on Oct. 17. A list of needed items was
read.
Member Irma Heiser was recently in the hospital.
Shank gave a program examining women’s roles during the Civil War. She then served an apple cake to the
members.
The next meeting will be held Oct. 3 at the home of Barb Verhovec.
