Heather M. Rutter and Gary L. Babaryk were united in marriage May 14 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic
Church, Zanesville.
Fr. Jordan Turano, O.P. was celebrant for the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jane M. Rutter, Bowling Green. The groom’s parents are Gary A. and Deborah
Babaryk, Wintersville.
The bride and groom walked down the aisle together. The bride wore a floor-length ivory gown with a deep
V-neckline and shoulder straps. It had a fit-and-flare silhouette with ruching at the waist and hips,
and a brief train.
Sarah Wammes, Bowling Green, was the maid of honor and Jackie Matheney, New Concord, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jamie (Weinandy) Cramer, New Albany; Allison Avolio, New Concord; and sister of the
groom Ashley Vitello, Hopedale.
The attendants wore separately styled black knee-length dresses.
Estelle Matheney, New Concord, was the flower girl.
The ring bearer was Wyatt Matheney, New Concord.
Matt Mark, Wintersville, and Tony Vonville, Grove City, was best men.
Groomsmen were Tim Matheney, New Concord; Brett Schmied, Wintersville; and Michael Vitello, Hopedale,
brother-in-law of the groom.
A reception was held at The Bryan Place, Zanesville.
The couple honeymooned in Key West, Fla.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green High School and a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College.
The groom graduated from Indian Creek High School, Wintersville, in 2002 and from Muskingum College in
2006.
