MOLINE – Mainstreet Church, will be hosting its annual Farewell to Summer Tour, on Sept. 10 at what it
calls its 795 campus.
This event includes a free concert with music from Sent by Ravens and Run Kid Run. Music for the evening
will also include a DJ that promises fun crowd interaction.
The event begins at 5 p.m. in the parking lot located at 5465 Moline-Martin Road near the village of
Moline. Other activities include free carnival games, free inflatable activities, car smashing, dunk
tank, corn hole tournament, concessions, chicken dinners and more.
The Farewell to Summer Tour is geared for all ages.
Church officials indicate the intent is to provide the community with an entertaining evening where
people can gather for little to no cost and "have a blast together."
Providing something for all ages, this event has earned a recurring status on the calendars of many as a
way to work in a little more summer fun as they kick off a new school year.
