Alton Smith, Bowling Green, will celebrate his 90th birthday at an open reception on Thursday from 1 to 3
p.m. at his place of business, 921 N. Main.
He was born Sept. 1, 1921 in rural Bowling Green and graduated from Tontogany High School. He has been in
the automobile business since 1945. He and his wife Wilma opened Al Smith Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in 1966,
and he retired in 2009.
