Wood Soil and Water District sets annual meeting
GRAND RAPIDS – The 62nd annual meeting of the Wood Soil and Water Conservation District will be held
Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at Nazareth Hall, 21211 W. River Road. Tickets are $10 each.
Contact the office no later than Thursday for reservations.
An election of supervisors will be held from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., with the meal and program to follow. The
terms of Tom Dierksheide and Bernard Scott will expire Dec. 31.
Two supervisors will be elected to fill those positions. Candidates are Daniel Potter, Bernard Scott and
Ron Snyder.
Those wishing to vote, but are unable to attend the meeting may vote by absentee ballot. Absentee votes
must be cast no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the election.
