ADVANCE PLANNING
Adventure Program-Nordic Trekking: Tuesdays, July 12 – Aug. 30 from 8-9 a.m. at W.W. Knight Preserve,
29530 White Road, Perrysburg. Instructor: John Baldwin, sponsored by Right at Home. This eight week
session provides instruction on the use of walking poles. Participants will need to be moderately
active. The walking trails have a mix of woods and pathway terrain. Class limited to 10 registrants,
Cost: $30 payable to WCCOA. Participants will be required to bring their own water and sign a waiver,
poles will be provided for each class. Registration required by calling the Programs Department at (419)

Program: "Hogs and Dogs" – July 13 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Harley Davidson, 1176 Professional
Drive, Perrysburg. Have your picture taken on a Harley motorcycle ($2) and tour the facility.
Entertainment by "The Hot Flashes" at 11:15 a.m. Bring a lawn chair and sunscreen. Lunch to
include: hot dogs, potato salad, honey dew & cantaloupe, carrot and celery sticks, cookie and
will be provided to the first 60 registrants. Entertainment sponsored by Senior Helpers, lunch sponsored
by Perrysburg Commons & Heartland of Perrysburg. Registration required by calling the senior
center.
Intergenerational Day Camp:"The Great Nature Mystery"- Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Rotary
Nature Center, Bowling Green. This program is designed for grandparents and grandchildren ages 4-12.
Cost is $5 per participant. Event will include nature crafts, games & prizes, outdoor
exploration, and lunch with snacks. Registration required by calling the Programs Department at (419)
