World traveling comic featured at Comedy Night
Kris Shaw, who has traveled the world entertaining troops, will headline Comedy Night Tuesday at 9 p.m.
at Grumpy Dave’s, 104 S. Main St., Bowling Green.
Shaw has also performed on the CBS show "Close to Home."
Feature performer is Ed Beuner.
Tickets are $5 and $3 for students.
Happy Badger hosts lawn show
The band Tree No Leaves will perform on the lawn of the Happy Badger, 331 N. Main St., Bowling Green,

Broadway romance is theme of opening Verandah concert
FREMONT – Fremont Community Theatre will open the Verandah Concert series with a revue "The Ups and
Downs of Broadway Romances" at The Hayes Presidential Center June 8 from 7 to 8 p.m.
The musical production features a collection of songs about happy and rocky romances straight from the
stages of Broadway.
Preceding the concert is an old-fashioned ice cream social starting at 6:45 p.m.

Mosaic glass workshop set
Coyote Beads, 178 S. Main St., Bowling Green is offering a workshop in making a mosaic glass window or
table class starting Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and continuing for three weeks.
This class will focus on how to cut glass and mosaic techniques.
The workshop cost is $115 for the window and $50 for the table.

Flower art exhibit opens
TOLEDO – The Toledo Artists’ Club’s Botanical and Still Life Show is now on display through June 24 in
the gallery in the Toledo Botanical Gardens, 5403 Elmer Drive.
Toledo artist Michele Trombley won best of show.
Connie Vorraber, Luckey, received a second place ribbon for "Decorative Kale."
Other winners were: First, Colleen O’Brien for "Planting Time" (Toledo, OH); third, Anthony
Carmona; and honorable mentions – Kay Kocher, Ellie Miller and Tom Sorrell.
