County museum has Ohio battle flags from Civil War

The Wood County Historical Center and Museum will host a Civil War weekend on Saturday from 10 to 5 p.m.
and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On display at the museum will be the original battle flags from the 14th and 21st Ohio Volunteer Infantry
carried in the Civil War.
Also on permanent display at the museum is the new exhibit titled "Wood County’s Role in the Civil
War." The exhibit features historical artifacts from the museum as well as information about the
impact of the war in Wood County.
On the grounds of the museum will be Civil War re-enactors demonstrating what life was like in the 1860s.
There will be artillery demonstrations throughout the day.
