SHERIFF’S OFFICE
An accident occurred:
March 31
¥ at 10492 E. Poe Road. Martin Ennis, Risingsun, was cited for failure to control and leaving the scene
of an accident after his vehicle reportedly struck and destroyed 196 feet of guardrail, struck a ditch,
and then overturned. He then reportedly fled the scene.
In the 21400 block of Euler Road, Weston, it was reported that between March 26 and March 31 someone had
stolen a prescription bottle of 10 Oxycodone, valued at $100, from the residence.
Eric Cappler, Bowling Green, was arrested for assault following an incident at a trailer court in the
18800 block of Brim Road.
PERRYSBURG POLICE
Accidents occurred:
March 28
¥ at 10796 Fremont Pike. The mirror of the vehicle of Richard Strausbaugh, Swanton, struck the mirror of
a vehicle driven by Heather Kaufman, Waterville, while they were making turns.
¥ at North Dixie Highway and Eckel Junction Road. Vanshika Vij, Perrysburg, was cited with assured clear
distance ahead after striking a vehicle driven by Cody Hade, Perrysburg.
March 30
¥ on private property at 25570 North Dixie Highway. Michael Tadsen, Walbridge, was arrested for OVI and
also cited for reasonable control after his car went into a ditch.
Ronald Pheils, Perrysburg, came to the police station to turn himself in on a police warrant.SHERIFF’S
