A burglary in which wiring was stolen from three buildings was reported Wednesday at a property on
Liberty Hi Road west of the city.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, the theft, in the 20200 block of Liberty Hi Road, had
occurred sometime since March 23.
A woman reported that during that time an unknown subject had entered the residence, garage and barn on
the property and ripped out most of the electrical wiring from the structures, and took a ceiling fan
from the living room of the home. The value of the wiring was not specified; the fan was valued at $60.

No signs of forced entry were observed, and the barn and garage had reportedly been left unsecured.
A break-in at the residence was reported two weeks previous, and nothing was believed to have been taken
in that incident.
