Donald K. Swerlein

Donald K. Swerlein, 91, of Bowling Green, died February 17, 2011 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born on September 24, 1919 in Bowling Green to Chalmer and Clura (Randell) Swerlein. Both his
parents have preceded him in death.
Don was a 50-year member of the Bowling Green Eagles Lodge and a 55-year member of the UAW.
Don was a Tool & Die maker for Ford Motor Company for many years.
He is survived by one son, Jan S. (Stephanie) Swerlein, daughter, Shirley A. Swerlein, both of Bowling
Green, two grandchildren, Jamie (Courtney) Swerlein, Jackie (Eric) Ellis and two great-grandchildren,
Jonah and Ariel.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the DUNN FUNERAL
HOME, 408 W. Wooster St., located in the Historical District of Bowling Green. Rev. David Boswell will
officiate. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
