PERRYSBURG – Way Pubic Library’s Topical Tuesday lecture series will continue this Tuesday at 7 p.m. with
"The History and Future of Renewable Energy in Northwest Ohio," by Alex Heard, environmental
health and safety vice president for First Solar.
Heard will share the success story of the solar energy industry in the Perrysburg area. Attendees will
learn how Northwest Ohio became a center for this emerging technology and what the future holds for
alternative energy industries.
The event, which will be held on the library’s lower level, is free and open to the public. Refreshments
will be served.
The lecture is presented by the library and the League of Women Voters.
