G.R. legion hosts fish fry
GRAND RAPIDS – Alva N. Sidle, Post No. 232 American Legion, will have a fish fry on Friday. Serving will
be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 12580 U.S. 24.
The cost is $8 for all you care to eat.
BG’s CDBG hearing Thursday
Bowling Green on Thursday will hold the first of two public hearings on the Community Development Block
Grant Program 2011 Action Plan.
The hearing begins at 1:15 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
BG Rotary meets Thursday
Bowling Green Rotary Club will meet Thursday at 11:45 a.m. at the Bowling Green Country Club.
The guest is Dr. Paul Cesarini, who will discuss "Net Neutrality: Why We Should Care," and
whether people should have the right to access any type of legal content online.

sets workshop
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold a workshop meeting on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Central
Administration Building, 140 S. Grove St., for the purpose of general planning discussion. No action
will be taken.
Fish fry in Pemberville
PEMBERVILLE – An all-you-can-eat fish fry will be served Friday at Pemberville American Legion Freedom
Post No. 183.
Serving will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults, and $7 for children ages 6-12. Children
under 5 will eat for free.
Homemade pie will be available.
Proceeds will benefit legion programs.
Legion council meets Tuesday
Wood County Council, American Legion, will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Luckey American Legion Post No. 240.
All Legionnaires are invited to attend.
