Accidents occurred:
Feb. 1
¥ at Ohio 64, a quarter-mile north of Kellogg Road. Gregory Schwab, Haskins, was cited for failure to
maintain control after the 1994 Chevrolet Suburban he was operating ran off the road and struck a
utility pole.
¥ at I-75 mile post 186 in Middleton Township. A 2009 Chevrolet Colbat driven by Kaylee Ruckstuhl,
Vanlue, Ohio, reportedly struck a guardrail.
¥ at Napoleon Road, one-tenth of a mile east of Huffman Road. Randall Lovejoy, Fostoria, reportedly lost
control of the 1994 Ford Ranger he was operating and struck a utility pole. He and his passenger were
not injured.
Feb. 2
¥ at Dunbridge Road, one-tenth of a mile south of Simonds Road in Center Township. Angelina Villegas,
Pemberville, was cited with a child seat belt violation and failure to control after the 2003 Ford Focus
she was operating struck a utility pole and cable box. Neither she, nor her juvenile passenger, reported
injury.
Feb. 3
¥ at U.S. Route 6, one-tenth of a mile west of Wapakoneta Road. Felipe Martinez, Napoleon, was cited with
failure to maintain control after he lost control of the 1995 Ford Explorer he was operating on the
ice-covered road, traveled off the left side of the road, and overturned.
¥ at Cygnet Road and Rosendale Road. A 1998 Dodge Ram driven by Christopher Rayle, Cygnet, reportedly
struck a 2005 Chevrolet Colorade driven by Teresa Benschoter, Bloomdale, due to icy roadways.
¥ at U.S. Route 6, one-tenth of a mile east of Ohio 199. James Scolly III, Huron, reported that his 2005
Chevrolet Avalanche struck ice and snow that was blown off another vehicle.
¥ at Hull Prairie Road and Five Point Road. Rodney Griffin, Chicago, was cited with failure to maintain
control after the trailer of the 2006 Freightliner tractor-trailer he was operating struck a stop sign
and broke off a fire hydrant while turning onto Hull Prairie Road.
¥ at Stearns Road, one mile west of State Route 199 in Perry Township. Deanna Cluckey, North Baltimore,
reportedly lost control of the 2001 Kia Rio she was operating on the icy roadway, went off the south
side of the road, and overturned.
In the 13000 block of Main Street, Weston, snowmobiles were reported to have been driving on the
sidewalks.
A resident of the 300 block of Salem Street, Rudolph, reported she received a telephone call in which the
caller attempted to sell her drugs. Feb. 2
¥ at Main Street, Risingsun, 200 feet west of U.S. 23. Richard Evans, Risingsun, was cited for failure to
yield from a private drive after the 1992 Ford Ranger he was operating struck a 2000 Chrysler Town and
Country driven by Brian Barnett, Risingsun. Neither driver, nor Barnett’s juvenile passenger, reported
injury.

Driving left of center – Margaret Nabors, Pemberville.
OVI (refusal), open container in a motor vehicle – Arthur Wills IV, Bloomdale.
A warrant for additional charges of violation of a protection order and telecommunications harassment
were filed against a 28-year-old Toledo man after he reportedly contacted a woman via email.
A hit-and-skip accident which occurred Feb. 1 at 17499 Brim Road and Bishop Road in rural Bowling Green
was reported.
A report of a fraud incident was received from a resident of the 12000 block of McCutchenville Road,
Wayne.
In the 8400 block of Huffman Road, Cygnet, a resident reported a scam in which they received a check and
letter in the mail.

Speed – Andrew Miller, Perrysburg; Nissa Yoder, Maumee.

¥ at Fremont Pike and South I-75. Martin Schley, Toledo, was cited for right of way when turning left
after the vehicle he was operating struck a vehicle operated by Charles Dipaola, Perrysburg.
Daniel Meszaros, Temperance, Mich., was arrested for OVI and additionally cited for display of plates and
a marked lanes violation.
