Man charged with inducing panic in Perrysburg hotel

PERRYSBURG – A man was arrested on a felony charge of inducing panic Tuesday after a disturbance at a
hotel in the city.
According to Perrysburg Police, at 7:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to Candlewood Suites in the 27300
block of Lake Vue Drive regrading a disturbance by an unwanted person. Officers found John Fraley, 30,
in Room 313. A strong chemical odor emanated from the room, and the room’s fire alarm, which had been
going off, was illegally disabled.
The incident is under further investigation due to suspicious substances found in the room and in
Fraley’s vehicle.
Fraley’s last known address was in Sylvania.
He was charged with inducing panic, a felony, and misdemeanors including criminal mischief, criminal
trespass, disorderly conduct, and obstructing official business.
