Rossford board sets workshop
ROSSFORD – The Rossford Board of Education has scheduled a workshop beginning at 5 p.m. Wednes-day to
discuss district facilities and any other business that may be necessary.
The workshop will be in the board room at Bulldog Center, 719 Dixie Highway.
Custar auxiliary hosts dinner
The Custar American Legion Auxiliary will serve a liver and onions or chicken breast supper on Friday.

The meal will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Custar Legion Hall on Custar Road. Also on the menu
are baked potatoes, coleslaw, rolls, drinks and cookies.
A free will offering will be accepted, and the meal is open to the public.
HOPE meets Wednesday
HOPE, a support group for suicide survivors, will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints, 1033 Conneaut Ave. in Bowling Green.
The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month, at the same time and location, unless there is
inclement weather.
Library accepts book donations
FOSTORIA – The Kaubisch Memorial Public Library is accepting donations for its semi-annual book sale.
Donations will be accepted until Feb. 19.
Any material donated to the sale should be clean and in good condition. Old textbooks, Reader’s Digest
condensed books, and soiled or mildewed items will not be accepted.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new material for the library. The book sale begins Feb.
24 and continues through March 1.

Two injured in accident
PERRYSBURG – Two women were taken to an area hospital Tuesday afternoon following an accident on
Interstate 75 northbound at mile post 191.8.
According to Perrysburg Police, at 2:36 p.m. a 2010 Ford van driven by Linda Michaels, Findlay, was
traveling in the left lane on I-75 when a 2009 Toyota Yaris in the right lane, driven by Zahra Enssaif,
Dearborn, Mich., reportedly lost control and struck Michaels’ vehicle, and both traveled off of the
roadway.
Enssaif, as well as Vanessa Carnes, a passenger in Michaels’ vehicle, were transported to St. Luke’s
Hospital by Perrysburg EMS. Both reported possible injuries.
Enssaif was cited for reasonable control.
