Falcon football signs another Florida recruit (2-3-11)

Chris Gallon, a wide receiver at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., has signed a national letter
of intent to attend Bowling Green and play football.
Gallon was not able to send his signed letter of intent to Bowling Green on Wednesday.
Gallon, 6-feet-4, 207 pounds, had 67 receptions for 1,010 yards and 17 touchdowns combined as a junior
and senior. Dr. Phillips went 14-1 in 2010 and 25-2 over the last two years. Gallon averaged 16.2 yards
a catch as a senior on 36 receptions for 674 yards and nine touchdowns helping lead the Panthers to the
Class 6A state title game. He had a pair of touchdown catches in his team’s 42-27 loss to Miami Central
in the title contest.
Gallon was charged with battery and hazing, both misdemeanors under Florida law, following a September
incident in the football locker room.
BG now has 22 recruits, including eight from Florida.
