Mike Aspacher will seek re-election for the Third Ward seat on Bowling Green City Council.
Aspacher was first elected to council in 2009 and has served as the chair of the council’s Public Utility
Committee as well as serving on the Parks and Recreation and Transportation and Safety Committees. Prior
to serving on council, Aspacher served on the Bowling Green School Board, having been elected twice to
that position.
In deciding to run for re-election, Aspacher declared, "Council has navigated some difficult issues
in the past two years and we have made tough decisions related to our finances. I am excited about the
future of Bowling Green and hope the Third Ward voters will grant me another two-year term."
Mike and his wife Toni live on Parkwood Drive and are the parents of two children, Patrick and Alex, who
are both Bowling Green State University students.
