Bowling: Eastwood girls remain undefeated (01-31-11)

Eastwood’s girls bowling team remained undefeated Thursday with a 2,564-2,017 win over Norwalk at Varsity
Lanes.
The Eagles are 11-0 overall and 9-0 in the Sandusky Bay Area Bowling Conference.
Eastwood was led by Mikayla Young with a 242 game and 408 total. Jessica Young added a 180 for 337.
BG wins
At Al-Mar Lanes, Bowling Green easily defeated Maumee, 2,140-1,464 to remain undefeated in the Northern
Lakes League.
Denise Miller led the Bobcats with a 204 game and 394 total. Eclipse Stockwell was close behind with a
214 game for 381. Kelsey Parker added a 206 game.

Rossford tops Perrysburg
At Rossford Lanes, the Bulldogs defeated Perrysburg 2,493-2,392 in the NLL.
Rossford opened with a 1,066 game and an early 176-pin lead over the Yellow Jackets. Perrysburg closed
the gap, but came up short.
Cory Zalesak led Rossford with a 223 and 203 for 426; while Austin Reynolds was close behind with a 235
for 425. Josh Teneyck with 214, and Tony McCoy, 204, also had top games for Rossford (6-2, 5-2).
No individual scores were provided from Perrysburg.
Eastwood beats Norwalk
At Varsity Lanes, Eastwood advanced its record to 9-1 in the SBABC and 10-2 overall, by defeating Norwalk
2,883-2,366.
Derek Rucki led the Eagles with games of 232and 235 for a 467 total; while John Przybylski added a 256
for 448.
BG tops Maumee
At Al-Mar Lanes, Bowling Green is 8-3 overall and 6-1 in the NLL after beating Maumee, 2,726-2,271.
In one of their higher scoring performances of the season, the Bobcats were led by Ryan Chesser with
games of 248 and 225 for 473; Cameron Walter added 235, 440; and Juan Ybanes, 245, 426.
Justin Overhulse came off the bench to roll a 214 game. BG had team games of 1,031 and 1,021 and added a
674 Baker series including games of 236 and 225.
