Arrest follows 2-hour standoff

PERRYSBURG – A woman remains under medical evaluation after she was arrested following a two-hour
standoff with police Saturday on Eaglecrest Road.
According to Perrysburg Police, at 9:52 a.m. officers responded to 1660 Eaglecrest Road on the report of
a barricaded person with a gun. The individual, identified as Robin Love, 49, reportedly refused to come
out of the residence and made threats of harming herself.
The Wood County Special Response Team (SRT) was called to the scene and, after numerous attempts at
negotiation with Love failed, the SRT deployed gas and entered the residence. Love was found in the
upstairs of the house unharmed and was arrested at 12:05 p.m.
She was transported to a medical facility for evaluation. Investigation into the incident is continuing,
with the possibility of charges being filed.
