Bairdstown Mayor Chris Barringer, accused of texting explicit images to two teenage boys, pleaded no
contest this morning during a pretrial conference.
Barringer faced two counts of disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile, a misdemeanor.
Bowling Green Muncipal Judge Mark Reddin found Barringer guilty, and set sentencing for March 25.
In the meantime, the court will conduct a presentence investigation to provide information to the judge
from victims and victims’ families.
