Joann Elizabeth Lyons, age 63, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her residence
after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Zanesville, daughter of the late Chester and Ruth Fowler Mills. She worked as a
secretary/treasurer for the Roseville American Legion, was an avid bowler and a member of St. Paul’s
United Methodist Church in Roseville.
Joann is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lyons; one son, Donald Golden of Luckey, OH, and one daughter
Lisa (Donald) Jenkins of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Courtney and Macie Jenkins, and Halle Golden.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 33 North
Main Street, Roseville, OH and one hour prior to services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Paul’s United
Methodist Church, 146 North Main Street, Roseville, with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow
in Rose Hill Cemetery.
