"The World of a Commercial Photographer," an exhibit of work by Larry Linkous, is now on
display on the exterior exhibition wall of the Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery, in Owens Community
College’s Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township.
Linkous, a Rossford resident, has worked as a commercial photographer since graduating from the Brooks
Institute in Santa Barbara, Calif. in 1973. He came to work for Owens Corning in Toledo in 1979 and has
worked for such corporations as Owens-Illinois Inc., Dana Holding Corp., BP, La-Z-Boy Inc. and General
Motors Co.
Linkous has received two KODAK Gallery Awards for excellence in professional photography, specifically
for outstanding industrial photography in Ohio. He has a master of photography from the Professional
Photographers of America.
A reception will be held tonight at 7 in the Studio Theatre Room 111. Linkous’ photos will be on display
through Feb. 10.
