THURSDAY
The 2007 Polish film "Katyn" will be screened at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater in Hanna
Hall. Directed by Andrzej Wajda, "Katyn" tells of the murder of 15,000 officers and others by
the Soviet secret police in 1940. Wajda recreates war-torn Poland and the lives of both perpetrators and
victims.
FRIDAY
The BGSU Wind Symphony will perform a concert as part of the 53rd annual Band Music Reading and
Director’s Clinic at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Admission charged, Call

SATURDAY
The BGSU Concert Band, as part of the 53rd annual Band Music Reading and Director’s Clinic, will perform
at 1:30 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.
SUNDAY
The Bowling Green State University brass faculty will present a recital at 3 p.m. in the Great Gallery at
the Toledo Museum of Art.
JAN. 24
Guest artists Nancy Eldridge, violin, and Caroline Coade, viola, will present a recital at 8 p.m. in
Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Eldridge is an active orchestral musician and
teacher in the Orange County, Calif., area and has played with the Pacific Symphony since 1996. Coade
joined the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in September 1996.
JAN. 25
The Jazz Lab Band I, directed by David Bixler, will perform at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
