Wiz Khalifa to perform at BGSU
Tickets are now on sale for the Wiz Khalifa concert Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. in Anderson Arena on the Bowling
Green State University campus.
Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Thomaz, started rapping in third grade and fresh out of high school in 2005
issued his debut mixtape "Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania."
Since signing with Atlantic last year he has toured with Lauryn Hill and Snopp Dogg while preparing a new
recording. The first single "Black & Yellow" has been scoring heavy views on YouTube.

Tickets for the Clazel Entertainment and Livin Legends LLC production are $25 and $35. Available at

Chorale resuming rehearsals
PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Symphony Chorale resumes rehearsals Monday at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of
First United Methodist Church 200 W. Second Ave.
Rehearsals continue Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m.
This group strives to perform interesting and challenging music. The chorale will present "Folksongs
Around the World April 8 and April 10. The April 10 performance will be at the Way Public Library and
will be part of a day of celebrating diversity and cultures from around the globe.

Tony winner in Findlay
FINDLAY – Tickets are now available for a performance by Tony Award-winning actress Beth Leavel Jan. 30
at 8 p.m in Winebrenner Theology Seminary’s TLB Convocation Center.
Tickets are $15; $10 for students and senior citizens over the age of 65. Contact the University of

Leavel won the 2006 Tony Award for best featured actress in the leading role of "The Drowsy
Chaperone," which also earned her Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards. She completed a
Broadway holiday run of "Elf The Musical" on Jan. 2.
Accompanying Leavel on the piano will be Phil Reno, a Grammy-nominated Broadway conductor.
Flying Joe hosts show
PERRYSBURG – The Flying Joe Coffee Shop, 2130 Preston Parkway, will be hosting free entertainment
throughout January.
