Owens women top Cuyahoga
CLEVELAND – The Owens Community College women’s basketball team defeated Cuyahoga on Wednesday, 61-52.

The Express, ranked No. 5 in the NJCAA Division II poll, are 16-3
overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.
Jasmine Blanton led Owens with 16 points to go with five rebounds, four
assists, and three steals. Aja Hall added 15 points, 10 rebounds and
four steals, and Nasumbi Bear chipped in with 12 points.
Owen men win
CLEVELAND – Owens’ men’s basketball team overcame a 15-point halftime deficit to notch a 74-71 win over
Cuyahoga Wednesday.
The Express are 7-12 overall and 1-1 in the OCCAC.
Cal Edward led Owens with 14 points, while Jerron Jamerson had 13 points
and nine rebounds. Rossford High School graduate Tommy Kralovic added
12 points, five assists, and two steals for the Express.
Gibsonburg-Genoa girls rescheduled
The Gibsonburg at Genoa girls basketball game, originally scheduled for
Tuesday, has been moved to Monday. The junior varsity game will start at
6 p.m. at Genoa. The game was postponed due to inclement weather.
