Webster meeting canceled tonight
PEMBERVILLE – Eastwood School District has canceled tonight’s meeting for parents of Webster Elementary
students, and has rescheduled the meeting for Thursday at 7 p.m.
The meeting is to discuss the procedures for closing the school and the transition plans for moving
students to other buildings.
The Webster PTO will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Park district offers programs
The Wood County Park District will offer two programs Saturday.
"Animal Hide and Seek" will discuss where animals go when it’s cold. Children ages 6 and over
may be dropped off, or adults can stay for the fun and discover animals’ disappearing tricks as everyone
goes outdoors to search for clues to hidden winter critters.
The program will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at W.W. Knight Preserve in Perrysburg Township.
Also on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a woody plant removal project at Beaver Creek
Preserve near Grand Rapids.
