Three from county on All-NLL volleyball first-team

Three players from Wood County High Schools, including two from league champion Bowling Green, have been
selected to the All-Northern Lakes League volleyball team in voting by the coaches.
Bowling Green’s Ashley Dunn, a repeat first-team pick, and Jordan Dunn, and Perrysburg’s Bailey
BredenbeckCorp are on the first-team. All three are seniors. Jordan Dunn and BredenbeckCrop were
second-team picks in 2008.
Southview’s Ellie Combs, a senior, is a repeat first-team pick.
Rounding out the first-team are Anthony Wayne senior Alex Butts, honorable mention in 2008, and Molly
Hilfinger, a junior; Maumee’s Brooke Tiller, a sophomore, honorable mention in 2008; and Springfield’s
Cheryl Kimmet, a junior, and repeat first-team pick.
County players on the second-team are Bowling Green’s Jordan Garza, a senior, and Chelsea Watson, a
sophomore who was honorable mention in 2008; and Perrysburg’s Erin Mesker, a senior, who was a
first-team pick in 2008.
Rounding out the eight-player second team are Anthony Wayne junior Mary Marzec; Maumee senior Kyle
Rubini; Northview senior Katie Bartlett, a first-team pick in 2008; Southview senior Kate Blankerts,
honorable mention in 2008; and Springfield senior Keyonna Gregory.

Bowling Green finished 14-0 to win the league, the sixth straight title for the Bobcats.
