JoAnn E. Lane, age 67, of Walbridge, OH, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Bay Park Community
Hospital, Oregon, OH.
On July 24, 1942 she was born to Leo and Mary Martha (Lotte) Bihn in Walbridge, OH.
After 36 years of employment at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH as a food service worker she
retired in 2008.
JoAnn was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and in her spare time enjoyed embroidering.
JoAnn is survived by her son: Brian (Michele) Francis of Walbridge, OH; daughter: Christine (James
Holden) Francis-Holden; grandchildren: Alexandria, Elisabeth, Haley, Nathan; sisters: Loretta (William
Ralph) Judy of Walbridge, OH; Patricia Costine of Detroit, MI; Lori (Denny) McLargin of Genoa, OH;
brothers: Rodger (Stephanie) Harrah of MI, James (Rose) Harrah of Detroit, MI; stepmother: Norene Cherry
of Elmore, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Rosemary Bihn.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 110
West Main Street, Luckey, OH. Officiating will be Father David Cirata. There will be a bereavement
luncheon served immediately following the memorial service at Troy-Webster American Legion Post # 240,
Luckey, OH.
