Kasey Colt Lewis, 37, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at his residence in Danville, Pennsylvania.
He was born on October 19, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio to Patricia A. Cochran Lewis and Michael Allen Lewis.
He graduated from Eastwood High School in Pemberville in 1991, and the University of Toledo Magna Cum
Laude in 1997 with a mechanical engineering degree. He was employed at Metso Minerals in Danville, PA as
a Project Manager.
He was a member of Frosty Valley Country Club and the Danville Moose.
Kasey was engaged in many outdoor activities with one of his greatest enjoyments being golf. He took
interest in four-wheeling, thoroughbred racing and playing cards, especially Texas Hold’em. He found joy
in his beloved dogs Cosmo and Nala.
He is survived by his father, Michael Lewis and his step-mother Nijole Lewis, of Perrsyburg. Also
surviving are two step-brothers, Domas Asanavicius of Fort Meyers, Florida, and Justas Asanavicius of
Perrysburg; his maternal grandparents, Sam Cochran of Delta, and Montez Cochran of Perrysburg.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia A. Cochran Lewis, and his paternal grandparents, Altalee
Mae Bare Lewis and Wiley Joseph Lewis, of Millbury.
A fellowship meal for family and friends will take place at the Riverview Banquet Centre/American Legion
Post 183 in Pemberville, on Monday, November 9 from 2 to 7 p.m.
