Prochaska, Pontius recognized

Preseason Mid-Major Top 25 list.
Prochaska was named to the third team, while Pontius received honorable mention. For the list, Full Court
Press broadly defines the term ‘mid-major’ to include all NCAA Division I schools outside of the six
major conferences.
Prochaska and Pontius were the only two Mid-American Conference players to be listed.
Prochaska led BG in scoring and rebounding last season, with 17.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
Prochaska led the entire nation in free-throw percentage, at 93.3 percent success.
Pontius in her first season as a starter, was an honorable-mention choice to the Associated Press
All-America Team. Pontius was one of just two players to be ranked in the MAC’s top 10 in both scoring
and assists, with 14.8 points and a team leading 4.1 assists per game.
