PERRYSBURG – On Nov. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m., in conjunction with the Wood County Chapter of the American Red
Cross, FOX Toledo will be at the Perrysburg fire station at 140 W. Indiana Ave.
Persons who are in need of a smoke detector, or those who want to be sure they have a new working
detector, are invited to the Perrysburg fire station to receive a free smoke detector while supplies
last.
"We are very humbled at the overwhelming success of our "Smoke Detectors Save Lives"
program (earlier in the year) and are proud to be able to team up once again with the American Red Cross
and area fire departments for another season of giveaways" said FOX Toledo News Director Steve
France. "If our efforts can help to save even one life by adding a working smoke detector to
