Lowell Hagemeyer

Lowell A. Hagemeyer, age 74 of Pemberville, OH passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Bridge
Hospice Care Center, Findlay, OH.
On November 11, 1934 he was born in Pemberville, OH to Arthur and Lucille (Beck) Hagemeyer. In Bowling
Green, OH, he married Evelyn Peters on May 13, 1956 and she survives.
Lowell was the owner and operator of the former Pemberville Lumber Company in Pemberville and then became
a salesman for Carter Lumber Company in Bowling Green, OH.
He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH, served on church council, was on the
church building committee for the new addition and was a former member of the Ohio Lumbermen’s
Association. Lowell also designed and built many homes in the surrounding area.
Surviving Lowell is his wife: Evelyn; daughters: Susan (Tim) Casida of Toledo, OH, Karol (Phil) Bortel of
Bowling Green, OH; son: Allen (Cherise) Hagemeyer of North Fort Myers, FL; sister: Darlene (Ralph)
Spearman of Katy, TX; niece: Dr. Mindy Spearman of Clemson, SC; sister-in-law: Ruth Peters of
Pemberville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Dawn Converse; brother-in-law: George Peters.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marsh
Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from Bethlehem Lutheran
Church, Pemberville, OH. Officiating will be Rev. David Wietelmann. There will be a bereavement luncheon
served immediately following the memorial service.
