Clarence E. "Gene" Huff Sr, age 64, of North Baltimore, passed away at 6 p.m. Saturday, October
17, 2009, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Gene was born January 4, 1945, to the late Basil and Helen (Null) Huff. He married Sheila
"Myers" Self and they later divorced.
Gene is survived by a son: Clarence "Spike" Huff Jr, of North Baltimore, Ohio; two daughters:
Rhonda (Jim Copus) Smith, of North Baltimore, Ohio, and Marlo Habel of North Baltimore, Ohio; and five
brothers: Leroy (Christina) Huff, of Bloomdale, Ohio; Paul (Marge) Huff, of Cygnet, Ohio; Basil (Helen)
Huff Jr, of Fostoria, Ohio; Gary Huff, of Fostoria, Ohio; and Tomi Joe Huff, of Fostoria, Ohio. Clarence
is also survived by 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Huff.
He started his life off in Fostoria, Ohio, and after high school started working at The Autolight Plant,
Fostoria.
Gene also enjoyed auto racing and bowling.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL
HOME, North Baltimore.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 10 a.m., at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with
Pastor James Tracy officiating.
