TOLEDO — The Toledo Walleye lost the first game in franchise history Friday, falling 2-1 to the visiting
Florida Everblades. It was the East Coast Hockey League opener for both teams.
Maxime Tanguay scored Toledo’s goal on assists from Brock Wilson and Adam Hobson.
Florida out-shot the Walleye, 27-19. Toledo goalie Alec Richards made 25 saves.
The listed attendance at Lucas County Arena was 8,000.
