Janice Louise Nofzinger, 68 of Bradner, Ohio died Thursday, October 15, 2009.
Janice was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Madison Clay and Dorothy (Johnson) Enoch. She married Chuck
Carmony in Temperance, Michigan and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons: Joshua (Crystal) Carmony of Bradner and Jeffrey (Gretchen) Barker of Burning
Springs, West Virginia; a daughter: Sharon (Blair) Salsbury, of Painesville, Ohio; two brothers: Eric
Johnson of Michigan and James Johnson of Toledo, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Angie Kirchhofer, Laura and
Bobby Barker, Nichole Talley, Blair III Salsbury, Logan and Lillie Carmony; five great-grandchildren:
Caleb, Oriana, Alice, Casey, Morgain, and Jaden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Jay, a granddaughter Kylie Jolie Salsbury,
great-grandson Elijah a brother Butch Enoch and a sister, Sharon Alice Ashbaucher.
Janice was a member of the Home and Garden and Crafter’s Association. She enjoyed knitting, scrapbooking,
writing and reading poetry, listening to music especially gospel, reading literature especially the
Bible, and she truly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a researcher and continued to study and learn until she passed away. But most importantly, she
was proud to be a Christian.
Her legacy is the love that she taught her family through their imperfections that continue on for the
years to come.
A Memorial Service in honor of Janice will be held Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the Remembrance
Chapel of the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling
