Week eight of the Wood County high school football season featured Eastwood vs. Elmwood in the the Battle
of the Woods.
Friday night’s game was not much of a battle with Eastwood scoring a 48-0 victory.
For the second straight week damp and cold weather added to the challenge for both players and fans. Rain
was at a minimum but the unseasonably cold and windy weather stuck around.
