Prospective students can take a look at what Bowling Green State University has to offer on Preview Day
this Saturday.
Most Preview Day activities will be held during the morning in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The
Multi-purpose Room and the Lenhart Grand Ballroom will house more than 100 displays from academic
departments and student services areas from 9 a.m. to noon. Faculty, staff and students will be on hand
to answer questions.
The Union Theater will host a 10:30 a.m. session for multicultural students, following a session about
career planning and choosing the "right" major at 9:30 a.m. A University Honors Program
presentation is set for 10 a.m. in 308 Union, while financial aid sessions will be offered at 10:30 a.m.
and noon in 101 Olscamp Hall.
Campus and residence hall tours will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and departmental tours and
activities will begin at noon.
Interested students may also apply for admission to BGSU during Preview Day, by bringing a completed
application for admission (available at http://go2.bgsu.edu/choose/apply/print/?freshman), an official
high school transcript including ACT or SAT scores, and a $40 check payable to BGSU for the application
fee.
"Now is an incredible time to be considering BGSU," said Admissions Director Gary Swegan.
"From our recognition by US News & World Report as 11th among national universities for a
focus on undergraduates, to a campus building renaissance that is about to begin, we look forward to
sharing our university with visitors."
Registration for Preview Day may be done online as well, at https://go2.bgsu.edu/choose/visit/schedule.
