Army National Guard Sgt. Cory A. Ahrens has been mobilized for deployment overseas to a forward base in
support of the war in Iraq. Ahrens, a military police member with more than four years of military
service, is normally assigned to the 585th Military Police Company, Marysville, Ohio. A 2004 graduate of
Anthony Wayne High School, he is the son of Allen Ahren, Waterville, and Dana Schmidt of Woodbriar Lane,
Grand Rapids.
