Robert ‘Bob’ Wynn

Robert E. "Bob" Wynn, age 72, of Wayne, OH, passed away on Monday morning, October 12, 2009 at
St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, OH.
On February 23, 1937 he was born in Toledo, OH, to Wendell and Dorothy (Gansmiller) Wynn. After being
childhood sweethearts for 11 years, Bob married Susan Collins on August 26, 1961 in Toledo, OH, and she
survives.
Bob was employed 53 years as a steam fitter and belonged to Local 50 Plumber & Pipefitters Union
of Toledo, OH.
His memberships included St. Paul Lutheran Church, New Rochester, OH; associate member of Shepherd of the
Glades Church, Naples, FL; 49-year member of Triad Masonic Lodge and a former member of the Zenobia
Shrine Mounted Patrol, where he was past director for the unit in 1979.
In his spare time he was an avid hunter, fisherman, being with the kids with horses and enjoyed 14
winters with Sue in Naples, FL.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Greg of Wayne, OH; daughter, Amy (fiance Bobby Macqueen II) Wynn
of Holland, OH; cousin, Steve (Karen) Higgins of Bowling Green, OH; sisters-in-law, Joanne Wayne of
Rochester, MN, and Carolyn (E. Richard) Atkinson of Springfield, VA; brother-in-law, Fred (Linda)
Collins of Maumee, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Marolyn Collins and niece Janell Collins.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009 from St. Paul Lutheran Church,
New Rochester, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Officiating will be Pastor Myron Kottke and Pastor Andrew Wilson. There will be a bereavement luncheon
served at the church immediately following the funeral services. Interment will be held after the
bereavement luncheon at 2:30 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH.
