Wayne gives out government food
WAYNE — The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
Fish fry Friday at G. Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS — Alva N. Sidle Post 232 American Legion will hold a fish fry Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at
their post, 12580 U.S. 24.
The cost is $8 for all you care to eat.

A story in Saturday’s Sentinel-Tribune about Anne Palmer’s volunteer work switched the dates of two local
carnivals. The Elmwood Elementary PTO Carnival is Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the community center
gymnasium. The Bright Beginnings Preschool Fall Fundraising Carnival to benefit St. Mark’s Lutheran
Church in Bowling Green will be held Oct. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the church’s gymnasium.
