Man charged with OVI after Perrysburg crash
PERRYSBURG – A local man was arrested and his passenger was taken by air ambulance to the hospital as a
result of an accident that occurred Saturday on the east side of town.
The Perrysburg Police Division reported this morning that Robert M. Snow, 51, of Perrysburg, was driving
a 2008 Ford Mustang around 7 p.m. at 10748 Avenue Road, when the vehicle struck a tree on the north side
of the road.
A passenger, Donna Snow, 50, was extracted from the car and taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Snow was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired, and for failing to maintain reasonable control.

BG ratifies union contract
Bowling Green completed its contract negotiations with union employees Oct. 5 with council’s approval of
a pact with the BG Police Patrolman’s Association.
The agreement was needed because of a wage re-opener included in a three-year contract approved a year
ago. As with other city unions, there is no wage increase beyond whatever step increases patrolmen may
be qualified to receive in the three-year pact. Members will also be granted an additional 40 hours of
vacation after Jan. 10, 2010.
All five contracts call for a wage re-opener in 2010.
