Ruth Elizabeth (Bringman) Schnitker, age 89, of Gibsonburg, OH, passed away on Friday evening, October 2,
2009 at Avalon by Otterbein at Perrysburg.
On July 17, 1920 she was born in Lemoyne, OH to George and Nora (Schroeder) Bringman. She married Norman
H. Schnitker on June 24, 1939 in Pemberville, OH and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2008.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Solomon Lutheran Church Woodville, OH.
In her spare time she enjoyed camping with Norm and family members.
Surviving Ruth is her sons: Ronald (Barbara) Schnitker and Eugene (Kathy) Schnitker both of Luckey, OH,
eight grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by
her parents, husband: Norman, brothers: George and Dale Bringman and a sister: Arvella Faber.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marsh
Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. Woodville, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Solomon Lutheran Church,
Woodville, OH where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating
will be Rev. William Duty and Rev. Karl Ribbeck.
Interment will be in West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at
Solomon Lutheran Church immediately following the cemetery committal services.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Solomon Lutheran Church, Solomon Lutheran School or
Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
