Last weekend, Bowling Green Youth Hockey hosted its annual Kickoff Classic travel hockey tournament. It
was another successful event for our three Bowling Green teams with the Squirt team winning the
championship and the Pee Wee and Bantam teams earning second place.
It is important to point out that we had 12 teams participate in this tournament with nine coming in from
out of town. Not only did they boost our local economy by staying at local hotels and eating at local
restaurants, but they also purchased tickets for the sold out Falcon football game against Boise State.

We would like to thank our sponsors, parents, players, coaches, volunteers as well as the BGSU ice arena
& ticket office for supporting our organization in yet another successful tournament.
