Salvation Army provides emergency utility assistance

The Salvation Army of Wood County currently has funds available for emergency utility assistance. This
service will provide payments for those in danger of being shut-off in gas, electric, water and sewer
services. The Salvation Army will also provide assistance for non-metered heating sources such as oil,
propane, firewood and coal.
Documents needed for this assistance include current utility bill, shut-off notice, picture I.D., proof
of income, birthdates and social security cards for everyone in the household. To receive this
assistance or if you have any questions, simply contact one of the following locations:
¥ North Baltimore: Lt. Chris Mauk or Carol Brown, 123 E. Broadway, Phone: (419) 257-2334. Hours: Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins accepted.
¥ Bowling Green: Rev. Bob Barr, 1048 N. Main St., Suite #8, Phone: (419) 352-5918. Hours: Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, 1 to 4 p.m. Walk-ins accepted.
