Proceeds from a benefit spaghetti dinner Saturday will go to Niki Spino to help offset medical costs.
Spino, a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in journalism, was involved in a
collision with a tractor trailer on July 14. After awaking from a coma, she spent two months in intense
physical therapy. Spino was able to return home Sept. 25 and continues therapy three days a week.
She is an associate producer with WTOL TV in Toledo, and a mixed martial artist.
The dinner will be at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1163 N. Main St. in Bowling Green. Tickets will be
sold at the door; an adult dinner is $7 and a child’s dinner is $4. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the dinner
will start at 5 p.m.
There also will be a corn hold tournament at 2 p.m., registration at 1:15 p.m., plus a 50/50 raffle,
silent auction and cash bar.
