ANNIVERSARY: William "Bill" and Janis (Johnson) Baker

William "Bill" and Janis (Johnson) Baker, 20285 Taylor St., Weston, will celebrate their 50th
wedding anniversary at an open house on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Weston Public Library Community
Room.
It is being hosted by their family, who request that gifts be omitted.
The Bakers were married Oct. 3, 1959 at the Weston United Methodist parsonage.
Bill Baker worked for General Motors Central Foundry in Defiance for 27 years. Janis formerly worked for
the Triplett Corp. in Weston.
The have six children, Elaine Schroeder, Shelly Cookson and Robert, all of Weston; Tina Brents, Grand
Rapids; William, Bradner; and Melinda Beason, Northwood. They also have 13 grandchildren and six
