Autumn garden workshop offered

PERRYSBURG – The 577 Foundation, located at 577 E. Front St. in Perrysburg, will be holding an
"Autumn Gardening Workshop" on Oct. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Organizers say those participating can learn about planting spring bulbs, growing garlic and starting a
compost pile.
Fall is the time to do all that.
The workshop will also show how to use the last of your grass clippings and raked leaves to provide
organic materials which can be used to prepare your garden for next spring.
Those attending should be prepared to spend time outside and will be able to take home some bulbs.
The workshop is open to the public. The class will be taught by 577 Foundation Horticulturist Vicki
Gallagher .
