Mildred B. Rudolph, 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2009 at Grand
Rapids Care Center.
Mildred was born March 31, 1917 in Altoona, Pa. to the late Carl W. and Rena Catherine (Whetstine) Hurm.

One brother, Harold Hurm, and one sister, Thelma Aurandt, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rudolph retired in 1963 from Saylor Products in Grand Rapids where she was a loom operator. She has
also been employed as a cook at the former C & O Truck Stop.
Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Grand Rapids and its United Methodist Women.
She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking for family and reading.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Janet Borough, Grand Rapids; sons, Donald (Joan)
Estep and Richard (Shirley) Hester, both of Grand Rapids, and James (Barb) Hester, Wauseon; 14
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, where funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009. The Rev. Mark Montgomery will preside
and burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
Memorials are suggested to the church, Otsego Food Pantry or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
