Joyce Jeanette (Jimison) Rhoden, 74, of Cygnet, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
Joyce was born in Bowling Green to the late Richard and Anna (Mitchell) Jimison. She married Jack Rhoden
on April 15, 1965 in North Baltimore and he survives.
Also surviving are four children: Debra Rhoden of Bowling Green, Joyce (Milo) Gallant, Van Buren, Dawn
Aldrich of Risingsun and Rodney (Lisa) Rhoden of Cygnet, seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Kristina,
Amanda, Russell, Dalton, Annie and Thomas; three great-grandchildren: Athena, Alexandria and Nathan; and
two sisters: Joanne (Arthur) Cramer of Bowling Green and Dorothy (Jerry) Mock of Swanton.
Joyce was a 1953 graduate of Bowling Green High School. She enjoyed cooking and was well known for her
cranberry salad.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved musicals and opera music.
She worked at Bowling Green State University for 18 years as a Food Service Supervisor and worked at the
Continental Structural Plastics, North Baltimore (formerly known as the Budd Company).
Visitation will be Friday, September 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME
& CREMATORY, 1460 W. WOOSTER ST., BOWLING GREEN, OH 43402,Tele: 419/352-2171 where funeral
services will be Saturday, September 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL of the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.

Association.
